A Web site that lets women show off their postpartum bods.
Ever thought to yourself, “Gosh, I wish there was a place I could
show the whole world the toll pregnancy has taken on my once fine body.”
Neither have we.
But if you've ever wondered what OTHER women look like after they've had kids, you’re in luck. Shape of a Mother (FYI: It contains nudity—but more of the National Geographic/medical text book variety.) gives women the opportunity to let it all hang out: Caesarean scars, stretch marks, drooping tummies, and all.
Founder of the site, Bonnie (wisely, she doesn’t give her last name) explains her inspiration for creating it, “Sure we all talk about the sagging boobs and other parts, but no one ever sees them.”
Um, yes we do Bonnie…every time we look in the mirror.
